About SwimMaps
What it is, and how to get the most out of it
SwimMaps helps you find the public swimming pools around you, at home, on holiday or when travelling, in fourteen countries and regions of Europe. It is a personal, independent project: free, with no account needed.
What you'll find
- Every public pool around an address or your current position, on a map, in a list and on a weekly timeline.
- Pool type and length, opening hours, prices, phone and official website, whenever an open data source knows them.
- A live daily status for the pools in Toulouse, from the sister app Piscines de Toulouse.
How to use it
- Search an address or tap “Around me”, then choose a radius.
- Filter: indoor or outdoor, 25 m or 50 m, open this week, today or right now.
- Tap ☆ to keep your favourite pools at the top of the list, and save the addresses you use often.
- Open a pool's page to see its whole week, its prices and the nearest other pools.
- Install SwimMaps on your phone: it opens like an app and keeps the latest data offline.
Help complete the map
- Opening hours and prices are only known for some pools: if you swim somewhere, add what's missing with the ✎ button.
- Spotted a mistake, or a pool that's closed or missing? Suggest a correction or a new pool; the author checks it before it goes online.
Good to know
- The data come from open sources (ministries, sports agencies, OpenStreetMap) and are refreshed regularly, not live.
- A missing time means “unknown”, never “closed”: when in doubt, check the pool's official website.
- SwimMaps is not affiliated with pool operators or any public authority.
